QR code (Quick response code) fact !
A QR code ( Quick Response code) is a type of two-dimensional barcode first designed in 1994 for the automotive industry in Japan. This has gain its popularity for its quick response features. Before QR code UPC(Universal Product Code) barcode was used widely.
QR code contains data for locator, identifier, that points to a website or application. There are many square dots in a square grid on a white background, which can be read by an imaging device such as a camera, and processed using Reed -Solomon error correction until the image can be appropriately interpreted. The required data is then extracted from patterns that are present in both horizontal and vertical components of the image.
Now it is using in many purposes like identity card, for providing URLs, Banking systems , as a catalogue etc.It can store more data than barcodes.
